Clinical Nurse Consultant - Allogenic Bone Marrow Transplant
Fixed Term, Part - Time Role.
The CNC AlloBMT is a part -time, fixed term position at 32 hours per fortnight. Reporting to the Specialist Nursing Team - Nurse Manager, The CNC AlloBMT the multidisciplinary team across Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and Royal Melbourne Hospital to ensure optimal patient outcomes for patients across Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and Royal Melbourne Hospital to ensure optimal patient outcome for patients accordingly.
This position will hold an honorary appointment at RMH.
• Reviews AlloBMT patients newly discharged from 7B RMH at Peter Mac in collaboration with nursing and medical team.
• Reviews AlloBMT patients preparing for discharge from 7B RMH as required.
• Undertakes advanced clinical assessment of AlloBMT patients early post allograft and development of management plan in collaboration with medical team, patient & family.
• Provides telehealth follow up for patients as required
• Provides ongoing education and support for patients and family post allograft
• Coordinates specialist and allied health referral as required
• Participates in post allograft exercise programme in conjunction with physiotherapist and other AlloBMT specialist nurses
• Provides educational and clinical support to staff and patients in wards
Remuneration as per Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2020-2024. ZJ4 $122,907.20 (full-time equivalent - to be prorated for part time).
