About the Molecular Imaging and Therapy Department
The Molecular Imaging and Therapy Department operates at both the Austin and the Heidelberg Repatriation Hospitals and has four core service components, Nuclear Medicine imaging, Radionuclide therapy, Positron Emission Tomography (PET), and Bone Densitometry.
About the role
As a Technologist in Nuclear Medicine, PET, and BMD, you will provide diagnostic imaging, radionuclide therapy and laboratory services to patients while optimising patient care at all times, and practicing safe administration of radioactivity in a clinical setting.
You will have the opportunity to be part of the senior team that contributes to discussions around clinical operations, staff development, research projects and accreditation efforts. You will also play a significant role in the department’s Oncology and Neuroscience program. There are possible opportunities to train in PACS administration, and contribute to the Quality Management Framework within the department.
