About the Department
The Consultation Liaison Psychiatry Service (CLP). This team forms part of the Specialty Services Directorate of the Mental Health Division at Austin Health. CLP is a tri-disciplinary team made up of medical, nursing and psychology staff that provides expert mental health assessment and interventions to general hospital consumers with concurrent mental health conditions. It also provides expert mental health advice, education, and support to general hospital staff in the care of consumers with concurrent mental health conditions and on mental health related topics, projects, policy, guidelines, and service development.
About the role
An exciting opportunity currently exists to join our Consultation Liaison Psychiatry team. You’ll join a friendly and supportive team who genuinely enjoy their work and the contribution they make. The role is to provide care to consumers throughout Austin medical and surgical wards on all campuses.
