Salary per hour: $55.07 + superannuation + generous salary packaging options
Employment Type: Ongoing part-time 24 hours per fortnight

Role description
The Mental Health Nurse is responsible for delivering specialist primary mental healthcare services to women at Tarrengower Prison. This role involves comprehensive assessment, care planning, and ongoing management of both mental and physical health needs, with a strong focus on supporting recovery-oriented practice and enhancing the women's experience of mental healthcare.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary primary healthcare team, the Mental Health Nurse contributes to the provision of holistic, trauma-informed care for individuals with diverse and complex needs, including priority population groups within the prison setting.
In addition to responsibilities at Tarrengower Prison, the Mental Health Nurse may be required to undertake duties across Dhelkaya Health sites in Maldon or Castlemaine, as directed by the manager, to support service delivery and organisational priorities.
