About the role:
An exciting opportunity exists for a Men’s Family Violence Intake Practitioner to join Western Health’s Men’s Family Violence Program based in Melton.
This role provides high-quality intake, assessment and coordination for men referred to our Men’s Behaviour Change Program (MBCP) and Perpetrator Case Management Program. The position plays a critical gateway function — assessing eligibility, undertaking MARAM-aligned risk assessment, determining appropriate clinical pathways and facilitating timely access to services.
Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will prioritise the safety of women and children while engaging men who use violence in a respectful, accountable and change-focused manner. The role works closely with internal services and external partners including The Orange Door.
At times, the role may also support assessment, case management or family safety contact work as required.
