An exciting opportunity exists for an organised, proactive and solutions‑focused professional to join our Medical Workforce Unit. This is a key role supporting our medical staff and clinical leaders by coordinating recruitment, placements, rostering, orientation, credentialing and overall workforce operations. The Contract: Full Time, Ongoing, 80 hours per fortnight with ADO.
Standard roster: Monday-Friday, 7.00am-3.00pm. Part time arrangements will also be considered.
The position:
The Medical Workforce Officer supports the smooth and safe delivery of medical services by coordinating key workforce functions, including recruitment administration, onboarding, rostering and leave processes. Working closely with medical staff, locum agencies and internal teams, the role maintains accurate workforce data, supports credentialing requirements and helps ensure a positive and efficient experience for all medical staff. It's a busy, varied role that contributes directly to the effective operation of the Medical Workforce Unit.

The Medical Workforce Unit is a dynamic, supportive team responsible for recruitment, placement, rostering, training coordination, credentialing and welfare of BRHS medical staff. We work closely with clinical leaders, medical education, People & Culture and external training bodies to ensure a safe, efficient and well‑supported medical workforce.
