What You'll Do
The Marketing Coordinator is a key position within our Marketing, Communications, and Stakeholder Engagement team. This position is responsible for creating marketing content and collateral across social media, email marketing, and other paid, owned and earned digital channels, as well as managing and reporting on campaign performance. Working closely with teams across the organisation, the Marketing Coordinator develops compelling digital materials that share Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria's stories and support key business objectives, including fundraising, revenue generation and visitation.
As part of a creative, collaborative team, you'll also ensure compliance with relevant standards and contribute to a positive and professional workplace culture.
What You'll Bring
The successful candidate will ideally have a tertiary education in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, along with experience in a similar marketing role. With a strong grasp of the digital landscape, you'll have a proven ability to create and source compelling content for social and digital platforms, as well as implement and SEO, SEM, email marketing, and digital advertising campaigns. Your forward-thinking mindset and creative flair will enhance brand presence and campaign effectiveness. Technically proficient, you'll have photography skills), with videography experience seen as a bonus and you are comfortable editing with both phone apps and more professional software such as Lightroom and Photoshop. You're self-motivated, highly organised, detail-oriented, and thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Resilient and adaptable, you bring a strong work ethic and a passion for producing impactful digital content.
