About the opportunity
Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for a Marketing & Communications Support Officer to join our Marketing & Sponsorship team.
Reporting to the Manager, Marketing Communications, this hands-on communications role provides support to the communications program team. This involves providing tactical support to deliver communications strategies, programs and marketing campaigns.
Key accountabilities:
- Collaboratively support the Marketing Communications team to deliver WorkSafe communications, campaigns and/or marketing materials.
- Provide administration support through managing governance of spreadsheets and records management.
- Ensure that all publications and collateral reflect WorkSafe brand guidelines and visual identity standards.
- Liaise with the business units to provide communications advice and support as required, with support from senior team members.
- Co-ordinate the processing of purchase orders and payment of invoices providing regular reports on planned expenditure, as part of the Business Communications team budget.
- Co-ordinate the completion of monthly updates for Executive Leadership Team (ELT), Stakeholder and Board member forums.
- Co-ordinate the weekly update of campaign timelines, milestones and marketing calendar for the Marketing Communications team.
- Provide general administrative, invoicing and operational support to Marketing Communication team members, as required.
About you
You are a marketing and communications administration professional with strong client liaison capability, exceptional attention to detail, and well‑developed time management skills. You consistently deliver high‑quality outcomes within tight timeframes and work collaboratively to add value for your team and stakeholders.
Additionally. you will possess the following skills and experience:
- Microsoft Office skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to problem solve and resolve issues with excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to manage regular workload with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to absorb knowledge and learn new skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to liaise on a professional level with a diverse client/stakeholder group
