About the business unit:
Corrections Victoria Intelligence Service (CVIS) is the overarching intelligence service for Corrections Victoria (CV) and its stakeholders. CVIS is comprised of the primary intelligence unit known as the Corrections Victoria Intelligence Unit (CVIU). CVIU is part of the Security and Intelligence Division. CVIU is located at the Statewide Services Building, Ravenhall, Victoria.
About this role:
The Manager, Technical Operations forms part of the Corrections Victoria Intelligence Unit. The primary purpose is providing day to day management of the Digital Forensics and Technical Operations Team (DFTO). The Manager, Technical Operations will also be required to deliver on complex technical projects with minimal oversight. The role also provides technical and procedural guidance to the organisation. Specifically, in relation to the IT systems utilised within the CVIU.
