The Manager, Talent Acquisition will lead the development and implementation of the talent acquisition team and employment pipeline strategies and initiatives. In partnership with the Manager, People Solutions and Experience, the Manager, Talent Acquisition will oversee end-to-end talent acquisition processes and be responsible for the attraction, and delivery of outstanding candidates who fit well with the high-performance culture of VicGrid.
The role will model forecast short and long term workforce needs based on scenario planning, capability and growth within operational teams and lead in end to end talent mapping and delivery.

What you will deliver
• Manage and coordinate the recruitment operations in a high volume and demanding environment, ensuring practices and processes are in accordance with policy and best practice, including recruitment standards record keeping and other government requirements.
• Provide leadership, coaching, guidance and support to build professional capability of the Senior/ Talent Acquisition partners and coordinator.
• Build, foster and maintain great working relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders including Executive Directors, Directors, Managers, People team members, external providers and industry stakeholders
• In collaboration with the Manager, People Solutions and Experience, drive the development and implementation of a range of Talent Acquisition improvement projects focusing on improving sourcing strategies and VicGrid's employment value proposition.
What you will bring
• Demonstrated expertise in relevant legislation, policies and contemporary developments in HR and recruitment management and practices, including providing advice tailored to the business.
• Track record of implementing initiatives to improve talent processes including creating talent pipelines and process improvements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail, demonstrating your experience developing a range of documents that support recruitment processes.
• Ability to work autonomously, self-manage and prioritise work to ensure the provision of quality and timely services to the business, this includes strong organisation skills with an ability to work flexibly within tight timeframes, in a high paced changing environment.
