About the Role
This is a fixed term full time position until 30-JUN-2028.
The Manager, Systems and Programs leads the systems, programs and business processes that support the effective operation of the Restorative Engagement and School Support (RESS) Branch. The role is responsible for ensuring the Branch's case, records and knowledge management systems are effective and continually improved, leads on all reporting and data analysis requests, and ensures that data is used to support accurate reporting, planning and decision-making. The Manager also leads branch induction, training and wellbeing programs, contributes to business planning and leads improvements to how the Branch works. The role manages a team of administrative and program staff and maintains a reduced case workload to stay connected to, and maintain a practical understanding of, the Branch's core casework and the experiences of the people it supports.
The Manager will also take on other project or program-based work of the RESS branch where required to support the needs of the Branch or broader division.

Mandatory Qualifications
Qualifications in social sciences, counselling, law, or other relevant qualification is essential in order to undertake the case work component. Experience in salesforce case management and reporting systems desirable.
About the Branch
The Restorative Engagement and School Support (RESS) branch leads coordinated responses to institutional sexual abuse matters—both historical and current—working closely with schools and community stakeholders. Through careful communication, targeted programs, and facilitation of support services, the Branch contributes to informed, compassionate, and effective support for victim-survivors and school staff impacted by the trauma of abuse.
The Branch has two units:
The Branch manages a variety of functions to support its two work units including the department's counselling assistance payments, the case and records management systems, and reporting to senior leaders on the work of the branch.

The RESS Branch sits within the Operational Policy, School Engagement and Compliance (OPSEC) Division – a supportive, respectful, positive, and collaborative team with a c ulture of high integrity, responsiveness and accountability.
