About the role:
The Manager, Strategy and Operations, has the responsibility for leading strategic planning for the organisation, managing stakeholder relationships, finance and procurement and operations. Overall, the Strategy and Operations team delivers the essential functions for the everyday business of Safer Care Victoria.
The Manager, Strategy and Operations reports to the Director, Strategy and Operations and is responsible for the leadership of the Strategy and Operations team. The role involves delivery of a range of corporate services, including supporting strategy development and managing audit, risk, Freedom of Information and finance and procurement systems and processes to optimise efficiency and effectiveness. The role also involves policy framework development, implementation and oversight; support of Executive Leadership Team huddles, and the development of effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure agreed timeframes and organisational goals are met.
The successful applicant will demonstrate sound leadership and people management skills, project management experience as well as an ability to influence others. The role will work closely with other team members and Unit managers to contribute to the work of the wider Governance, Strategy and Research branch and ensure the implementation and delivery against the SCV Strategic Plan.
