Manager, Strategy and Insights
The Role
The Manager, Strategy and Insights leads a high-performing team responsible for delivering strategic projects, data analysis, and technical solutions to support Apprenticeships Victoria. The role provides strategic leadership, expert advice, and clear direction to ensure high-quality analytics and insights inform decision-making across the branch.
As a member of the Apprenticeships Victoria leadership group, the role contributes to strategic direction, drives key initiatives, and ensures effective resource use across the organisation. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with strong analytical capability, strategic thinking skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for executive stakeholders.

The Team
The position of Manager, Strategy and Insights forms part of the Apprenticeships Victoria Branch within the Skills and TAFE Group.
Apprenticeships Victoria works with government and industry partners to deliver a pipeline of skilled workers for priority sectors. The branch focuses on policy development, program delivery, and system performance monitoring to strengthen apprenticeship and traineeship pathways across Victoria.

You bring strong leadership capability and experience managing teams to deliver high-quality outcomes. You demonstrate strategic planning expertise, ensuring organisational priorities are translated into operational plans and team deliverables. You are also skilled in stakeholder engagement, effectively managing complex and competing needs while facilitating practical and innovative solutions.
