The Manager, Specialist Planning will lead a team to support the Regional Manager Forest and Fire Programs to develop plans for the Forest Contractor Program and provide the expertise for complex planning projects in the Port Phillip Region. You will be required to develop a planning schedule to ensure the ongoing and uninterrupted delivery of DEECA's critical forest and fire management works.
The planning process requires a high degree of collaboration with district, regional and State planning teams, along with Parks Vic and Melbourne Water staff. The plans produced will ensure that DEECA is able to demonstrate compliance with environmental protection and other relevant legislation.
The Forest and Fire programs team is a supportive, happy and high performing team.

This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is flexible within the Port Phillip region with hybrid work arrangements available.
