About the role:
The Manager, Specialist Care Reform will provide key leadership and guidance to a team responsible for the systemwide implementation of the six reforms outlined in the Specialist Care Reform Blueprint (the Blueprint), with a focus on continuing to improve access to timely, equitable and best practice specialist care for all Victorians.
Demonstrating relevant experience and expertise in either health systems, analytics, government processes, stakeholder consultation, policy design, or program implementation, this role will provide the opportunity to engage with a wide range of stakeholders and impart enduring reform in the healthcare sector. You will provide leadership to team members and work with other partners to coordinate advice on cross-portfolio strategic policy issues and statewide reform matters.
To be successful in this role, you will be a high performing team leader with experience in people management, comfortable working in complex policy spaces, with exceptional skills in policy development, analytical thinking and problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, project management, and communication. You will be a collegiate and collaborative manager, who is focused on developing the skills of your team and creating a safe environment for people to thrive. You will lead and create a positive team culture to build and sustain positive stakeholder relationships.
