Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute, sub-acute, aged care and community services.
NHW is seeking an experienced Social Work Manager to provide leadership and operational management for the Social Work and Pastoral and Spiritual Care services. NHW offers exciting clinical diversity across emergency, acute, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient and community funded streams.
As the Manager, you will provide leadership, development and direction in delivery of best practice Social Work and Pastoral and Spiritual Care services across the organisation, whilst also providing supervision and support to staff and programs. This role also provides the opportunity to hold a Social Work clinical portfolio, collaboratively working with a range of other health professionals within NWH and other regional services.
The successful applicant needs to be dynamic, team orientated, innovative and collaborative. They will have the support of an experienced allied health, outpatient and community service leadership team, as well as opportunities to work in conjunction with other disciplines and craft groups within the organisation and the region.
