About the Role
The Manager, Schools and Regional Evidence is responsible for leading a team that is client-focused, working in partnership with departmental Regions and schools to identify and address ongoing data and evidence requirements of Victorian government schools and Regions. The team delivers innovative reporting products and provides learning and development support and communications for school level data products for all government schools.
The Manager facilitates cohesive communication, and develops and implements continuous improvements to business processes, planning and feedback loops to ensure that the Performance and Evaluation Division is well positioned to meet the evolving evidence requirements of schools and Regions in a timely manner.
The Manager reports to the Director, Evidence, Insights and Analytics, in the Performance and Evaluation Division. The role is based in Melbourne, and may require travel across the State.
Attributes
As Manager Regional Evidence, you are passionate about how data and analysis can be used to lift school performance and influence improved outcomes in early childhood and school education. You have a high level of data literacy and a willingness to share your knowledge with the staff who need to put PED's evidence into practice.
To be successful within the position, you will need to be able to lead a diverse and mobile team to deliver data literacy coaching and analytical support. You are able to build trust and credibility with senior stakeholders to promote the value of PED's data and evidence products.
