About the role
This role leads a multidisciplinary team providing strategic direction and oversight for initiatives that strengthen the evidence base supporting VicHealth's Strategy. Reporting to the Executive Manager, you will lead research, evaluation and learning activities, ensuring evidence informs decision-making, demonstrates impact and supports continuous improvement.

A strategic thinker with significant experience in research, evaluation and public health, you bring a strong understanding of contemporary evaluation theory, applied research and systems thinking. You can translate complex evidence and data into practical insights that inform decision-making and organisational impact.
A collaborative people leader, you build high-performing teams and trusted relationships through coaching, collaboration and continuous improvement. You bring strong communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills and are motivated to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for Victorians.
