The Manager, Rehabilitation Performance leads a specialist team to oversee and improve rehabilitation outcomes across Victoria’s mineral, quarry and petroleum sectors. The Manager ensures rehabilitation obligations are applied consistently, assessed transparently, and acquitted in a clear and defensible way. It brings together rehabilitation liability assessment, completion verification and bond management to support a cohesive, system-level approach. Using data, intelligence and risk-based methods, the Manager drives stronger governance, better regulatory practices and improved system insight. It aims to achieve safe, stable and sustainable rehabilitation outcomes, protect the State from residual liabilities, and support timely and credible closure of mines, quarries and petroleum infrastructure.

This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is Melbourne CBD with hybrid work arrangements available.
