An exciting opportunity exists to join the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA) Schools Division.
Reporting to the Deputy CEO Schools and working closely with the Director School Regulation, the role manages a small team leading project management, contract management, procurement, administration, reporting, data analysis, planning and coordination functions for the VRQA Schools Division. It is responsible for providing timely advice and reporting to the executive and the VRQA Board, and also secretariat support to board subcommittees.
This work involves extensive use of data management systems, including data report generation and analysis.
The role is also responsible for monitoring workflow across the broader division to ensure the effective and efficient allocation of resources in support of the division's regulatory activities and the meeting of key performance indicators.
From time to time the role will also lead the re-registration of awarding bodies and accreditation of secondary and foundation courses.
The role is required to build and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders including with the Department of Education, Victorian Catholic Education Authority, Independent Schools Victoria, schools and co-regulators as well as internal stakeholders.
The successful applicant will have outstanding people management and project management skills, and excellent communication skills.
