About the role:
Parks Victoria is seeking a senior operational leader to join our Gippsland leadership team and help shape the future of one of Victoria's most diverse and iconic regions - from alpine peaks and ancient forests to rugged coastlines and wetlands - to help steward this extraordinary place and lead the delivery of high-quality park operations that protect, connect and inspire.
As Manager Regional Operations, you will be a key member of the Gippsland regional leadership team, partnering closely with the Regional Director to lead large, multidisciplinary teams through change and deliver safe, reliable and place-based outcomes across our parks and reserves. You'll oversee regional planning, visitor infrastructure and asset delivery, conservation programs and community engagement - ensuring parks remain safe, accessible and protected for future generations.
This is a rare opportunity to shape how Parks Victoria shows up on the ground - strengthening relationships with Traditional Owners, communities and partners while improving the way we plan, prioritise and deliver services.
The salary for this role is Grade 8 ($129,478 - $181,284 plus government superannuation) with working location negotiable within the Gippsland region.
