About the role
The Manager – Procurement is a leadership position that is responsible for Parks Victoria's Procurement Unit, driving excellence and ensuring that all purchasing activities support organisational objectives while meeting statutory and policy requirements.
We're seeking someone with the ability to set the strategic direction for procurement and contract management across the organisation, who has the experience in providing expert guidance on our policies and frameworks that enable compliant, transparent and value-for-money outcomes. You will be developing category management plans, source strategies and supplier partnerships to improve efficiencies and support the delivery of our strategic priorities.
This role needs a highly effective communicator, as you will be working closely with the Director – Finance and Business Services, executive leaders and managers across the organisation to embed sound procurement practice, manage risk and enhance commercial capability across all levels of the business.
