About the Role
The Manager role is responsible for leading a team of policy analysists to provide complex and high-priority policy projects. To be successful in this role you will have strong policy and stakeholder management skills, experience leading fast-moving policy projects and a strong awareness of organisational context.
The position will work collaboratively with other teams in ECSD, Early Childhood Education group and across the department to deliver on key priorities in the portfolio and create a positive and productive work culture.
About the Division
Early Childhood Strategy Division (ECSD) is a small and influential strategic policy unit that leads strategic policy design projects for the broader Early Childhood Education group. Recent projects have included supporting the establishment of an independent ECEC regulator, the Out of Home Care Agreement Review, developing a kindergarten enrolment-based funding model, supporting the department's response to the Productivity Commission's ECEC Inquiry and Commonwealth Government ECEC commitments.
