The Manager Plant Health Programs leads the development and delivery of strategic plant biosecurity initiatives within a technical and policy-focused branch. This role is responsible for managing programs that enhance Victoria’s plant pest preparedness and emergency response coordination, transitional pest management programs, and containment of significant established pests.
The position also oversees the delivery of strategic projects ensuring alignment with national frameworks and state priorities. It provides expert input into national biosecurity forums and contributes to shaping policy and operational approaches. There is also the opportunity to deliver stakeholder engagement and raising biosecurity awareness across government, industry, and the community.

This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is Flexible within Victoria, with preference for Attwood with hybrid work arrangements available.
