The Consumer Affairs and Local Government Group
The Consumer Affairs and Local Government (CALG) group is responsible for policy development; regulatory design and administration; system and program design; and the delivery of services in the best interest of Victorians. Spanning both the Consumer Affairs and Local Government portfolios, the group identifies strategic priorities, drives system and regulatory reform and coordinates DGS’ emergency management responsibilities to improve practical outcomes for the community.
About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager, Regulatory Insights and Assurance, the Manager, Planning, Reporting and Assurance leads the development and implementation of CAVs planning and assurance frameworks and corporate reporting requirements.
The manager leads a small team responsible for driving CAV’s planning and performance management activities, organisational reporting, including CAV’s Annual Report, risk management, business continuity, and data reporting. The manager works closely with colleagues in the Regulatory Insights and Assurance branch and across CAV to ensure effective governance and oversight of decisions related to regulatory responsibilities within the Consumer Affairs portfolio.
