About the role
The Manager, Planning Business Intelligence leads a team that delivers data, reporting and business intelligence tools to support planning operations. They set clear priorities, guide team performance and ensure work is focused on meeting customer needs. The role supports Planning divisions across the Department by providing reliable data and insights for day-to-day monitoring and long-term decision making. They work closely with leaders and stakeholders to understand information needs and improve reporting products. Success in this role means better decisions, stronger performance tracking and more efficient, data-driven services.

Qualifications and experience
You’ll bring:
· Tertiary qualifications in information systems, computer science and/or equivalent (mandatory).
· Extensive experience in developing and designing business intelligence solutions across various BI platforms (e.g. Power BI and Tableau) and technologies (mandatory).
· Proven experience in collaborating with business stakeholders to gather business requirements and translating them into technical specifications for delivery teams (mandatory).
· Proven experience in data analysis and querying using programming languages such as SQL or Python on data platforms (e.g. Databricks, SQL Server, AWS Athena) (mandatory).
· Familiarity with agile methodologies, practices and tools (e.g. Jira) (mandatory).
