About the Division
As a Division of the Academy, the Business Services Division leads the provision of quality Academy corporate support services and functions (including procurement, project management and program governance, human resources and culture architecture, finance, facilities management and, risk, audit and performance reporting) which enable successful operation of the Academy. In addition, the Business Services Division is responsible for the oversight, delivery and reporting of the compliance obligations required of a Victorian government statutory authority.
About the Role
The Manager, People, Capability, and Culture (PCC) is responsible for the efficient delivery and implementation of the Academy's PCC functions, encompassing HR services and processes. This role provides leadership, expert guidance, and strategic insights to drive best practice and continuous improvement in the Academy's People, Capability and Culture functions, cultivating a culture of high performance across the Academy.
A key focus of the role is continuing the foundations for a strong organisational-level cultural environment through organisational professional learning initiatives, survey insights, and evidence-based strategies and activities. The Manager oversees the development of organisational-level people, capability and culture plans, ensuring they align with strategic priorities and set up each Division and Business Unit for success in implementation. By fostering a high-performance culture, driving stakeholder engagement, and ensuring effective team management, the Manager supports the Academy in achieving its objectives and strengthening its people, culture, and capability functions.

The role requires the successful candidate to demonstrate a range of capabilities at a senior leader level, including the ability to develop authentic relationships, work collaboratively with peers and executives, identify solutions to complex problems and continuously improve processes, while remaining focused on delivering an exceptional customer expe rience.
The work program within the role is cyclical but requires adaptation and innovation and is reliant upon the successful candidate being able to identify process improvements and efficiencies.
