About the Role:
We are seeking a fixed term until 30 June 2027 Manager, People and Talent Acquisition to take on a pivotal role that blends expertise in talent acquisition, workforce management, and people analytics to support and influence business decisions.
This strategic position is responsible for developing and implementing innovative workforce strategies and engagement programs, while leading the continuous improvement of HR practices in alignment with BPC's objectives. Acting as both a coach and adviser, you will apply a data-driven approach to address current and future organisational challenges, empowering leaders to build high-performing teams and foster a positive workplace culture.
You'll work closely with key stakeholders across the business, providing expert guidance on employment initiatives, talent strategies, and HR processes. Reporting to the Head of People Services, and partnering with the Manager, Employee Relations and Organisational Design, you'll help shape the future of our workforce through exceptional people leadership.

About the BPC
The Building & Plumbing Commission (BPC) is Victoria's new regulator for building and plumbing.
It brings together the Victorian Building Authority (VBA), Domestic Building Dispute Resolution Victoria (DBDRV), and the domestic building insurance function of the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA) into one organisation.
Key functions related to building and plumbing regulation will come together under one roof, including registration, inspection and compliance, practitioner discipline, dispute resolution, and domestic building insurance. These services will now part of the BPC and will be fully integrated over the next 12 months.
