The Manager, Office of the Executive Director is responsible for leading the strategic coordination, governance, risk oversight, performance reporting and issues management functions that support the Executive Director of the Forest and Fire Assets and Resources Division.
The role ensures the Executive Director is supported with high‑quality, timely and integrated advice to enable clear decision‑making, strong governance and effective delivery of the division’s purpose: providing fit‑for‑purpose, value‑for‑money assets and resources to support forest, fire and emergency management outcomes across Forest Fire Management Victoria (FFMVic).
The position plays a critical leadership role in embedding consistent governance, accountability, performance oversight and ways of working across a complex, high‑risk operating environment, and in supporting the division’s operating model and reform agenda.

This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
