About the role
The Manager Network Resilience acts as a trusted advisor and key liaison, balancing operational priorities with strategic objectives to support network resilience and minimise disruption across Melbourne’s transport network. The role provides leadership, assurance, and strategic advice to stakeholders across the Department, local councils, operators, and delivery teams, while overseeing the preparation of executive briefings, ministerial correspondence, and performance reports. Responsible for delivering executive presentations on network performance, risks, and emerging trends, the position also drives continuous improvement by identifying systemic issues, implementing lessons learned, and enhancing network management processes. In addition, the role leads and develops staff, influences decision-making through effective stakeholder engagement and communication, and ensures the delivery of high-quality reporting and governance outcomes.
