This senior position presents an opportunity to manage programs, oversee projects and contribute to policy development in two significant and dynamic areas – implementation of the Murray Darling Basin Plan and delivery of Victoria’s component of The Living Murray program. The work program is coordinated from Melbourne but requires the effective use and management of regional and multijurisdictional partnerships to achieve the desired outcomes. The position will require frequent interstate and regional travel. The position requires someone who is driven by a desire to achieve environmental benefits, works well in a dynamic team and maintains effective relationships with a range of stakeholders. The position also leads a small team to achieve this.

This is a fixed term position available for a period until 29 October 2027. The work location for this position is 8 Nicholson Street, Melbourne East with hybrid work arrangements available.
