This role sits within the People and Culture branch of the Department of Transport and Planning (DTP). About the role
As Manager, Mobility, you'll lead a small, high-impact team focused on enabling skills-based employee movement across the Department. Your work will directly support the delivery of major initiatives and priority projects that matter, with senior leaders who are open to new ideas and change.
You'll take the lead on designing and managing mobility solutions—from policies and programs to processes and technology—that help us place the right people in the right roles. This role is all about ensuring our workforce is agile, capable, and ready to meet the Department’s strategic priorities.

What you’ll bring
You’ll be a seasoned HR leader with experience designing and managing innovative mobility and workforce programs that deliver a positive employee experience and deliver desired workforce outcomes. You know how to manage and use data and derive insights to drive decisions and continuously improve services. You’ve successfully led teams, managed and improved processes, navigated complex workforce movements, and provided high-quality advice on change, redeployment, and strategic workforce planning. You’re a confident communicator who builds strong partnerships and brings people along on the journey.
