Manager, Local Jobs First Engagement
The Role
The Manager, Local Jobs First Engagement supports the Local Jobs First Commissioner to advocate for the use of local goods and services in Victorian government procurement, on behalf of Victorian industry, including small and medium enterprises, as well as promoting the employment of apprentices, trainees and cadets on government construction projects.

The Team
The position of Manager, Local Jobs First Engagement forms a part of the Industry, Trade and Investment group in the Local Jobs First Commissioner's Office.
The Industry, Trade and Investment (ITI) group works closely with businesses locally and globally to grow Victorian jobs, drive innovation and increase Victoria's international competitiveness. This role sits within the Local Jobs First Commissioner's Office (OLJFC). The Commissioner's role is to advocate on behalf of Victorian small and medium enterprises, as well as promoting the employment of apprentices, trainees and cadets on government projects.
