About the role:
Reporting to the Director, Audit, Risk and Integrity, the Manager, Integrity and Complaints provides management and oversight of the department's integrity and complaints functions. The role leads a centralised intake and triage model for integrity disclosures, complaints and concerns, ensuring matters are managed fairly, lawfully and proportionately. Through oversight of resolution and investigation pathways, external referrals and consolidated reporting, the role supports informed executive decision making, strong governance and public confidence. The role also supports the Department's integrity culture, and supports executive leadership and decision making across the Department (including by Executive Board).
The Integrity and Complaints team delivers a central, accessible service for receiving and managing integrity matters and complaints from staff, service users and the community. The team assesses each matter to determine the most appropriate response, prioritising timely resolution where possible and escalation or referral where issues are serious, systemic or in the public interest. The team supports fair outcomes, statutory compliance and service improvement by applying consistent processes and learning from complaints and integrity matters.
