About the Role
Job Location: 1 Spring Street, Melbourne
You will lead a small team to plan and manage the department’s investments, savings and budget priorities. You provide clear, practical advice to Ministers, the Secretary and senior leaders, while working closely with central agencies and key stakeholders. You oversee business cases and Cabinet submissions, including the State Budget, and guide funding decisions and savings plans. Success in this role means better decision-making, secure funding outcomes, and well-coordinated strategies that manage risks and support the department’s objectives.
