About VHBA
The Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. VHBA also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines.
The Opportunity:
As the Manager, Internal Communications you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic internal communications program that engages employees and aligns them with our purpose, priorities, and culture. In this role you will be contributing to influencing the way we communicate throughout the organisation both during day-to-day operations and times of change.
Key aspects of the role include:
Driving and aligning the internal communications strategy with the organisation’s objectives; providing strategic counsel to senior leaders and managing the communications team.
Overseeing consistent, high-quality content delivery across the intranet, newsletters, videos, and presentations.
Work with the Senior Internal Communications Advisor and Director of Corporate Affairs to ensure clear, timely internal messaging during crises or sensitive situations.
We are looking for:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide advice, influence, and clearly communicate with people at all levels.
Ability to use analytical and creative thinking to solve problems and drive innovation.
Leadership capability with the experience and ability to lead complex internal communications projects with the executive leadership team.
Ability to use analytical and conceptual skills to reason through problems and think creatively.
Tertiary qualification in communications, marketing or a related discipline is highly regarded.
