The Manager, Integration and Coordination, position provides responsive and strategic advice on a wide range of issues to support the Deputy Secretary, Energy to achieve the goals and deliverables of the group. The Manager, Integration and Coordination operates in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and demands.
The Manager, Integration and Coordination, collaborates across the Energy Group and with internal and external stakeholders to deliver policy and operational outcomes. This leadership role includes policy oversight and integration, including related to Cabinet and other whole-of-government initiatives; providing support and advice for the Deputy Secretary’s membership on a range of inter-departmental committees and meetings; representing the Office of the Deputy Secretary at a range of internal meetings; and building broad relationships with executives and staff to facilitate decision making by the Deputy Secretary.
This position requires someone with a detailed understanding of government processes, including Ministerial briefings and Cabinet as well as experience in policy development and managing a team. The ability to think strategically, and excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.

This is a fixed term position available for a period of 12 months. The work location for this position is 8 Nicholson Street, East Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
