About the role
The Worker Screening Unit (WSU) is responsible for administering the Worker Screening Act 2020 by processing applications for Working with Children Checks and NDIS Worker Screening Checks.
The role of Manager, Initial Assessment is to lead and manage a team of Initial Assessment Officers and be accountable for ensuring they complete high quality and timely initial assessments and gather the appropriate supporting documentation.
The Manager of the Initial Assessment team is required to maintain strong stakeholder relationships with other relevant business units, external agencies and community organisations in the delivery of key operational program objectives.
