Reporting to Director – Investment and Sector Development, Offshore Wind Energy Victoria, the Manager, Industry Engagement, Offshore Wind provides strong leadership driving the division’s policy and program design to contribute to the successful establishment of the offshore wind sector in Victoria. The position engages with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders and leverages their understanding of industry drivers to provide high-quality strategic and authoritative advice to government on sector development. The Manager works closely with other areas of DEECA and other government departments, as well as industry stakeholders to ensure the optimal design of the offshore wind program.
The suitable candidate for this role is an experienced and capable leader and policy/project manager, who has a strategic and agile mindset and an ability to lead by example. The position requires exceptional policy skills, commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills and clear and succinct written and verbal communication skills. This is a fixed term position available until 27 November 2026. The work location for this position is Melbourne CBD with hybrid work arrangements available.
