About the role
South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking a dynamic and forward‑thinking Manager Health & Safety to champion a safe, healthy and secure environment for all employees, consumers and visitors.
In this pivotal leadership role, you'll guide and empower a dedicated team to deliver proactive, organisation‑wide safety, security, emergency management and risk initiatives. You'll also lead our injury management and workplace health functions, helping shape a culture where people feel supported, protected and able to thrive.
Working in a fast‑paced and highly collaborative environment, you'll drive strategic improvements, influence positive behaviours across the organisation, and ensure SWH continues to be a leader in workplace health and safety.
This is a permanent full‑time position, offering the added benefit of a monthly ADO.
What you bring
You're a health and safety professional with the qualifications and hands‑on experience to lead with confidence. You bring a strong understanding of Occupational Health and Safety principles, backed by detailed knowledge of the relevant legislation, policies, procedures and best‑practice approaches to workplace inspections and risk management.
Your communication skills, both written and verbal, are exceptional, enabling you to influence, collaborate and inspire across all levels of the organisation. Highly organised and proactive, you thrive in a role where you can balance strategic thinking with practical, day‑to‑day problem solving.
