As the Manager, Health Forest Pilots (Stone Country) in Hume Region you'll play an important role in working with Traditional Owners to pilot an innovative and Traditional Owner led approach to managing Country, in this case focussed on the Strathbogie State Forest.
In this role you'll work closely with District and Regional planning teams along with Traditional Owners for the Strathbogie Ranges, the Taungurung Land and Waters Council.
Ideally you will have experience in working with natural resource and land management planning for public land and have knowledge and experience in working with Traditional Owners. You'll have strong cultural awareness and experience in building good relationships and have experience in working on complex projects. A good understanding of GIS and creation of spatial products would be an advantage.

This is a fixed term position until 29 December 2028. The work location for this position is flexible within Hume region with hybrid work arrangements available.
