The Manager Governance Support and Coordination reports to the Director Governance, Regulatory Improvement and Programs in Agriculture Victoria.
The position leads the Governance Support and Coordination team, which is responsible for the effective functioning of a number of statutory and government committees, including delivery of secretariat and governance support, and an annual grant program, in accordance with government policies and best practice. This position plays an important role in providing support and guidance on recruitment and appointment of members to agriculture portfolio entities.
The successful applicant will be highly organised and process-driven, with a strong capacity to plan ahead and manage timelines. They will have a high level of drive and commitment, integrity and resilience and be able to build trust through consistent actions, values and communication. They will work effectively as a member of a team, enjoy flexible working arrangements and contribute to Agriculture Victoria’s commitment to good governance.

This is a fixed term position available for a period until 8 January 2027. The work location for this position is Attwood (flexibility may be available) with hybrid work arrangements available.
