About the role:
This position is a Fixed-term, Full-time role till 2 April 2027.
The Manager, Governance and Insight, will lead the timely and accurate reporting of system achievements, as well as undertaking special projects that improve data availability and system intelligence across planned care. These projects include data improvement, such as development of new and updated system metrics, policy development, such as Robotic Assisted Surgery and strategy, such as work to support improved understanding and monitoring of endoscopy activity.
Demonstrating relevant experience and expertise in tracking key program elements such as funding and delivery, supporting key department committees that provide oversight, and ensuring that reporting, and underlying data systems accurately monitor and reflect progress of the Program, this role will provide the opportunity to deliver program objectives in a timely manner. Experience interpreting health service performance data and leading policy or data related projects would be highly regarded. You will provide leadership to team members and work with other partners to coordinate advice on cross-portfolio strategic policy issues, data improvement, governance and financial matters. You will contribute to a positive team culture to build and sustain positive stakeholder relationships.
The role requires someone who will work closely with team members and other partners to provide direction and define problems, analyse qualitative and quantitative inputs, and develop creative implementable solutions. You are diligent and comfortable leading work on complex issues, building positive relationships with stakeholders and produce high quality visual products.
