We are seeking a Manager Food Regulatory Policy to lead and develop a high performing team providing strategic policy and legislative advice and shaping Victorian and national food safety.
The Manager Food Regulatory Policy is responsible for setting policy direction and providing strategic advice to Agriculture Victoria executives, key stakeholders and government on diverse, complex and challenging policy and legislative issues facing Victoria.
The incumbent will support national and cross-government policy development and implementation to deliver food safety initiatives for Victoria. They will work closely with food safety regulators, health and local government colleagues and support Ministers and senior officials representing Victoria in Australia’s food safety system.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
This is a fixed term position available for a period of 24 Months. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
