THE ROLE
As the Manager, Equality Programs you will use your effective leadership skills to manage a team in the design, development, implementation and review of key programs and initiatives across the Equality portfolio. You will be responsible for building effective relationships with key stakeholders across government and non-government sectors to support the effective delivery of programs designed to improve outcomes for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and gender diverse, intersex and queer (LGBTIQA+) Victorians.
The successful candidate will be required to prepare, oversee and ensure the delivery of high-quality briefs and reports. You will also be called on to formulate options and advice on the status of program development and implementation to support high-quality decision making and be asked to provide advice on emerging issues as well as budget, performance and program delivery risks.
You will work closely with other managers and teams across the Unit and the wider department to ensure that program design aligns with portfolio priorities, including Pride in our future: Victoria's LGBTIQ+ strategy 2022-32.
