About the role:
This position is a Fixed-term, Full-time role till 7 May 2027.
The Manager, Emergency Access and Ambulance Services Accountability is a key leadership role within the branch, the role is pivotal to the commissioning and accountability of Ambulance services and emergency care in Victorian health services and leads the team that monitors, tracks and drives Ambulance Victoria (AV) and emergency care performance improvement.
Demonstrating relevant experience and expertise in providing leadership, robust project management and monitoring, and stakeholder engagement, this role will have the opportunity to work with AV, health services and other departmental areas to support access to timely and equitable emergency care.
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate high level expertise in managing a team in a high profile and fast paced environment. You will be an effective and responsive project leader who works collaboratively with diverse stakeholders to build and influence key internal and external relationships to deliver a shared commitment and coordinated implementation. You will be recognised for your expertise in delivering change in complex environments, your deep understanding of the Victorian health system and have a strong grasp of AV and system performance, and relevant datasets.
