The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking an Manager, Electronic Monitoring to provide a critical role within the Security and Intelligence Division.
About the Business Unit
Corrections Victoria is responsible for the direction, management and operation of Victoria's corrections system, which incorporates prisons and Community Correctional Services. As a service agency within the Department of Justice and Community Safety, Corrections Victoria develops and implements policies, programs and services that ensure the safe and secure containment of prisoners, and that seek to rehabilitate offenders by addressing the underlying causes of offending behaviour.
Corrections Victoria's Electronic Monitoring Services is a business unit within the Security and Intelligence Division. Electronic Monitoring Services maintains oversight of the state-wide electronic monitoring program and management of the 24/7 Electronic Monitoring Centre.
About the Role
The Manager Electronic Monitoring is responsible for management of staff and operations, as well as the leadership of strategic and work program objectives within Electronic Monitoring Services. The role involves stakeholder management and collaboration, management of electronic monitoring projects and continuous innovation.
The role is primarily based at the State-wide Services Building, Ravenhall, although some state-wide travel and overnight stays may be required. Additionally, the role may be required to work in Metropolitan Melbourne when required. The role may be required to undertake on call duties to assist in the after-hours support of Electronic Monitoring operations.
