Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission.
Collectively, Victoria's Supreme, County, Magistrates', Children's, and Coroners courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the Judicial College of Victoria, the Judicial Commission of Victoria, and Court Services Victoria (CSV) are referred to as the ‘Courts Group'.

The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is the first level of the Victorian court system and is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria. It has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state. The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 locations, equating to approximately 90 percent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year. The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible, and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.
The Neighbourhood Justice Centre (NJC) is Australia's first community justice centre and an International Community Mentor Court. Key aspects of the NJC include early intervention. peacemaking, local problem solving, and one stop integrated service delivery with a focus on addressing the underlying causes of offending. Strong community engagement and partnerships, which deliver real and practical impacts for the community, are fundamental to the NJC approach. The role operates within the Program Innovation Team, which is responsible for crime prevention, peacemaking, policy, justice innovations, education and public programs.
About the role
The Manager, Education & Public Programs is responsible for strategic education and public programs that profile the centre's work, build capacity in community justice and respond to priority local community justice needs. The role engages community, system and public stakeholders, to increase their awareness and understanding of the NJC model including effective prevention strategies and bring to life the centre's status as an International Community Mentor Court. The position also manages the centre's lived experience engagement and relationships with educational institutions.
