In this VPS 5 role, you’ll lead a team of planning specialists to deliver high-quality burn plans, site plans, and forest management works that make a real difference.
As part of DEECA’s Bushfire & Forest Services group, you’ll work closely with local teams and stakeholders to ensure our forests are healthy, our communities are safe, and our planning reflects local knowledge and priorities. This is your chance to contribute to statewide programs like the Joint Fuel Management Program and Operational Forest Management Program, while fostering collaboration and cultural safety.
We value diversity, inclusion, and flexibility – and we welcome applicants from all backgrounds. Hybrid work options are available, and we offer a supportive environment where your expertise in forest and fire planning, GIS systems, and stakeholder engagement will shine.
