About the Department
The department provides a wide range of learning and development support and services. The department provides policy leadership, plans for the future of education in Victoria and leads key cross-sector collaboration. The department plays an important system steward role by providing support, guidance, oversight and assurance across early childhood and school education systems, as well as directly providing school education and 50 new early learning centres.
About the Division
The Curriculum and Teaching Practice Division (CTPD) is responsible for developing and supporting schools to implement the department's teaching and learning policies and providing curriculum implementation guidance to Victorian government schools.
CTPD draws on contemporary research and practice evidence to develop evidence-based teaching and learning policy reforms, co-design and implement initiatives to support schools to deliver high-quality teaching programs. CTPD has primary responsibility for providing advice and implementation support to government schools to deliver the Victorian Curriculum.

About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Manager, Digital Learning Policy and Practice to join the Mathematics, Science and Digital Learning Branch within the Department of Education on a full-time, ongoing basis.
The successful applicant will lead a team of VPS staff and drive a future-focused portfolio aimed at improving student learning and wellbeing outcomes through the responsible and effective use of digital technologies.
